Tengrinews.kz – An amazing story of a rescue took place in the Irkutsk region, Russia.
The woman got lost in a hard-to-reach part of the taiga. According to the official Telegram channel of the local police department, before she went missing, she called her daughter and said that she had seen a bear near the winter hut. The girl contacted the police and reported that her mother, who works as a guard at a logging company, had not been in touch for five days. The woman went on a shift at a remote base in the taiga.
Police officers and rescuers went to the retiree's place of work, but did not find anyone there.
"The search operations continued for almost a week. The woman spent all this time in the forest without food or water. On the sixth day of the search, the police found a woman lying in the branches of fallen trees several kilometers from the base. She had no strength, since she had spent more than a week in the wild without food or water," the Telegram channel said in a message.
It is reported that the woman was taken to the hospital and her life is not in danger now.
