Tengrinews.kz – A MiG-31 interceptor jet crashed in Russia’s Lipetsk region while attempting to land, RBC reported.
According to the country’s Ministry of Defense, the aircraft was returning from a scheduled training flight when the accident occurred on Thursday evening.
The crew successfully ejected, and their lives are not in danger.
Officials noted that the jet crashed in an unpopulated area and was not carrying any ammunition.
