Tengrinews.kz – CEOWORLD magazine has published a new Human Progress Index (HPI) ranking, which analyzes indicators such as quality and length of life, education level, political stability, per capita income, and access to opportunities. The higher these metrics, the higher a country ranks. So where does Kazakhstan stand? Tengrinews.kz reports.
The full study details are available in the magazine's article. According to the 2024 report, Switzerland was named the best country in the world for quality of life. It is followed by Norway and Iceland. Hong Kong came in fourth, ahead of Sweden. Denmark and Germany placed sixth and seventh. Also in the top ten were Ireland, Singapore, and Australia, ranked eighth through tenth, respectively.
Turkey ranked 48th, Russia 59th, Belarus 72nd, and Armenia came in 78th.
Kazakhstan was recognized as the Central Asian leader in quality of life, ranking 70th globally. Turkmenistan was ranked 96th, Uzbekistan 108th, Kyrgyzstan 119th, and Tajikistan 128th.
It is noted that CEOWORLD analysts compared 196 countries across three main categories: stability, satisfaction, and balance. The evaluation included 23 indicators, each belonging to one of these categories, and all were measured on a 100-point scale.
