Tengrinews.kz – An American F-35 fighter jet crashed at an air base in Alaska, according to Alaska News Source.
The incident occurred at Eielson Air Force Base, home to the 354th Air Wing. The F-35 fighter jet had completed a training flight and was about to land when it encountered an unspecified "malfunction." The pilot had to eject immediately. The plane crashed near the airfield's runway, after which it exploded.

The F-35 pilot is currently in the hospital undergoing a medical examination. His health condition is not alarming.
Earlier, an Air Busan plane caught fire at the airport in South Korea, preparing to fly to Hong Kong. There were 176 people on board the plane. All 169 passengers and 7 crew members were able to evacuate in time using inflatable slides.
