Tengrinews.kz – American entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk stated that the United States is at the beginning of a “great 12-year span,” which will consist of Donald Trump’s second presidency and two terms served by J.D. Vance, who is currently vice president.

According to Politico, Musk made these remarks while speaking via video link to former employees of the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). The outlet cites two participants of the meeting and another source familiar with the event — all of whom requested anonymity.

The meeting reportedly took place on November 22 in Bastrop, Texas. Musk joined from a completely dark, undisclosed location. After the meeting, he explained that he chose not to appear in person for security reasons. He considers himself one of the top targets for assassination in the country, second only to Trump and Vance.

Although Musk’s relationship with Trump deteriorated over the summer and was later restored, the billionaire has developed a strong personal connection with the vice president this year, the publication notes.

Musk has stepped back somewhat from active politics, but his influence and significant political spending could become a major asset for Vance if he decides to run in the 2028 election and Musk chooses to support his campaign.

According to the meeting participants, the billionaire’s virtual appearance disappointed some attendees who had expected to see him in person.
