Tengrinews.kz – A raccoon broke into a liquor store in the U.S., caused a mess, and—after clearly drinking too much alcohol - fell asleep in the bathroom, ABC Virginia reports.
Early in the morning, an employee of a store in the city of Ashland, Virginia, discovered the chaos: the entire floor was covered with shattered bottles of premium alcohol.
Soon the woman also found the culprit. It turned out to be a raccoon that had fallen into the store through a ceiling tile. After sampling various alcoholic beverages, the animal eventually passed out drunk on the bathroom floor. Apparently, the raccoon overestimated its tolerance, mixing different types of alcohol, and fell asleep.
The intoxicated raccoon was taken to a shelter to sober up. And when, a few hours later, it finally regained consciousness, it staggered back to its natural habitat.
