On February 14, a man with the surname Wang from Binzhou, Shandong province decided to try his luck. He bought rings worth $280 and made about 8000 throws over the course of three hours. In the end, he managed to win the main prize.
“I threw thousands of rings, and my hands still feel a bit sore. At first, I was just giving it a try, and I think my success was mostly due to luck,” Wang said.
It turns out that Wang has some shooting skills: he is a basketball enthusiast and often participates in such contests at night markets. For example, during the Lunar New Year celebration, he spent $20 and won six geese.
However, the joy of victory was not so unconditional - the car he won was only provided for a year without the right to full ownership. Now Wang is negotiating with the owner of the stand, hoping to exchange the car for monetary compensation.
