Tengrinews.kz - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan has urged Kazakh citizens in the Middle East to stay in contact with diplomats.

As noted by the official representative of the ministry, Aybek Smadiyarov, not all citizens register with the consulate.

"In this regard, establishing communication and compiling lists of Kazakh citizens takes some time. We take this opportunity to urge all citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan to register with the consulate in the countries they are in. We also ask Kazakh citizens currently in Israel, Iran, and Lebanon not to leave their places of residence without extreme necessity, to follow heightened safety measures, remain vigilant and cautious, monitor the news, adhere to the authorities' recommendations, and stay in touch with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the embassies of Kazakhstan in these countries," said the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to Smadiyarov, hotlines have been established in Israel, Iran, and Lebanon. Additionally, an operational headquarters has been created at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to coordinate all efforts in organizing necessary assistance for Kazakh citizens.

"The embassies of Kazakhstan in Israel, Iran, and Lebanon are also in constant communication with the authorized bodies of these countries. So far, no information has been received regarding injured or dead citizens of Kazakhstan," reported Aybek Smadiyarov.
