Tengrinews.kz - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported how many Kazakh citizens are currently in Israel, Iran, and Lebanon.

As noted by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Aybek Smadiyarov, the protection of the rights and interests of Kazakh citizens abroad is a top priority for the foreign policy agency.

"We are doing everything possible to ensure the safety of our compatriots and provide all possible support in any situation. As you know, the situation in the Middle East has significantly worsened over the past few months. In this regard, Kazakh diplomats in Israel, Iran, and Lebanon are working in an enhanced mode. Communication channels have been established with Kazakh citizens in these countries, and they are in constant communication with them, receiving necessary recommendations depending on the developments in each country. Several times, the embassies have announced the need to leave the country due to the worsening military-political situation," said the official representative of the ministry.

According to Smadiyarov, the list of citizens registered with the consulate is being updated on a regular basis.

"Thus, as of today, there are 120 Kazakh citizens registered with the consulate in Israel, 180 in Iran, and 143 in Lebanon, including diplomats and their family members," he stated.

Earlier, Embassy in Israel has issued a statement to Kazakh citizens.
