At 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time (5:00 a.m. Astana time), polling stations closed in Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, South Carolina, Vermont, and Virginia.

At 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time, polling stations will close in North Carolina, Ohio, and West Virginia.

It is noted that polling stations will close the latest in Hawaii and Alaska, where voting will end at 10:00 a.m. Astana time.

According to data from the first national exit poll in the United States Edison Research, 44 percent of voters across the country expressed a positive view of Trump, while Harris received 48 percent support.

Edison Research exit poll results from swing states show Trump leading in Nevada and Pennsylvania, with 47 percent support in each state.

Harris is leading in North Carolina and Wisconsin, where she has 47 percent of the vote, Georgia with 49 percent, and Michigan, where she gained support from 48 percent of voters.

In Arizona, both candidates are tied at 46 percent.

The United States is holding its presidential election, with Donald Trump as the main Republican candidate and Kamala Harris representing the Democrats. This is the 60th presidential election in U.S. history, where the 47th president of the country will be elected.

In the upcoming elections, Americans will choose not only a new president but also a vice president, 468 members of Congress, governors in 11 states, and representatives in local government bodies.
