After getting 1.4 percent of votes according to the preliminary information published by CEC on April 4 Zhambyl Akhmetbekov met with the journalists. The communist congratulated Nursultan Nazarbayev on the victory in the elections, Tengrinews.kz reports. “The victory of Nursultan Nazarbayev could not be prepared during one electoral period. In such case trust must have deeper roots. They have been demonstrated today. Election campaign was held in accordance with the legislation. The election results show an objective reality,” said Akhmetbekov. Zhambyl Akhmetbekov said he is not planning to stop. “The main conclusion I drew from all my meetings is that people are waiting for social changes," said the communist. Akhmetbekov left the press-hall saying “We keep working”.
