Observers from Turkic speaking states have registered no violations during Kazakhstan presidential elections on April 3, 2011, Tengrinews.kz reports. Parliamentarians from Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan said that the voting process was very well organized and gave a positive evaluation to the elections in general. Azerbaijani MP Aydin Mirzada complimented the work of the Central Election Commission. “The Central Election Commission worked transparently, publishing the results as soon as they were available,” he said. The delegates visited several polling stations. They were very impressed at how active the citizens were - people were even queuing up to vote. Representatives of Turkic speaking states did not observe any substantial violations. “All the stages including voting, counting and summing up were positively evaluated,” said Mirzada.
