He was accompanied by a support group of neighbors, relative friends and family: his wife and four daughters. His oldest daughter Perizat, 21, has voted for the first time today. Zhambyl Akhmetbekov confided that he was very excited and that it is a special day for him today. “I feel nervous as if I am about to enter an exam. I think that regardless of the today’s election result, it is going to be one more step towards greater prosperity of our country. What concerns me, I have chosen my way and I want to follow it to the very end: I will be voting for the interests of the common people, for the interests of the people of Kazakhstan,” Zhambyl Akhmetbekov said. After casting his ballot communist Akhmetbekov posed for cameras and talked to journalists.
