Almost half of the amount allocated out of the state budget to organize the forthcoming presidential elections will go to pay salaries to members of election commissions, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing the Central Election Commission (CEC) Head, Kuandyk Turgankulov. According to him, out of KZT 4.7 billion (over $32 million) allocated, KZT 2.7 billion (over $ 18 million) will go to pay salaries to members of election commissions, most part of whom are teachers in their daily lives.
