Kazakhstan PM Candidate to be announced today

Today, April 8, Kazakhstan’s President is to name PM Candidate, KazTAG reports. “At 4:00 p.m. Astana time the Majilis, lower chamber of the Kazakhstan’s Parliament, will see this candidate”, parliamentarian Irak Elekeev told KazTag’s journalist. Today outgoing PM Karim Massimov announced resignation of the Government. “After the President accepts the resignation, all of us will be an acting Government for a while. Everyone will be discharging his or her regular duties before a new cabinet is formed. Some of us will be in the new compound of the Government, others will be out (…) But it’s the clear-cut victory of the Head of State and his new mandate to further develop the nation that do matter”, Mr. Massimov said.
