84 percent of Kazakhstan’s voters – 7 709 159 people – had voted by 6:30 p.m. Astana time, Tengrinews.kz reports referring to the Central Election Commission. Almaty oblast is still the leader by the voter turnout: 94.7 percent. Astana city continues to lag behind with 54.9 percent turnout. Almaty city is just slightly ahead of it with 55.4 percent.
