76.9% percent of voters – 7 056 748 Kazakhstan citizens – had cast their ballots in the Kazakhstan by 4:30 Astana time, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the Central Election Commission. Almaty oblast still enjoys the highest voter turnout: 90.9% (797 560 people). In Almaty itself the turnout made 47.3% (453 680 people). Astana is still rather passive in comparison with Almaty and other areas.
