A whole 3000-seat stadium has gathered to celebrate the victory of the Nur Otan national democratic party’s presidential candidate in Astana, Tengrinews.kz reports. The Nur Otan’s celebration officially started at noon and is taking place in the Kazakhstan Sports Palace. Political and opinion leader, young people, singers and many others are all chanting “We have won!”, “Alga Kazakhstan!" (“Go Kazakhstan!” in Kazakh), “Ahead with the leader!” Everyone was given scarves, caps, T-shorts and flags reading “We vote for the leader” at the entrance to the stadium. The stadium’s arena is painted in the national flag colors – blue and yellow, special cannons are launching confetti in the air. “We have won, this is our common victory. I am thankful to all the citizens of Kazakhstan and to all the volunteers. I am thankful to all who is walking this path together with me. A great thanks to you all,” Nazarbayev said in front of the 3000-seat stadium. “I will lay all my forces and experience to serve Kazakhstan. It has always been this way and it will continue,” Nursultan Nazarbayev said. A major part of his speech was meant for Kazakhstan’s young citizens. Nazarbayev said that conditions for better education are being created in Kazakhstan. “All this is done for your future,” he said. “We are constructing new plants,” he continued. “In some countries pensions are being cut, but we instead are increasing them.” “The mandate that has been given to me by the people will be used for further progressive work,” Nursultan Nazarbayev said from the podium in the stadium’s arena. Young people are welcoming even statement of the leader with ovations. Nursultan Nazarbayev also thanked his election race competitors.
