Police is investigating all versions of Zhanaozen clashes, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Mangistau oblast Akim (Governor) Baurzhan Mukhametzhanov.“Being the head of the Interior Ministry, I used to investigate very high-profile cases. Any crime can be solved today or tomorrow. We will investigate all versions, including the version about foreign organizers. We will come to the final conclusion. If some people abroad were directing and inspiring locals for the clashes, I think no country of the world will keep such people, as this is a real terrorism,” Mukhametzhanov said at the meeting with bloggers and journalists on December 25. The Governor also talked about an alternative video of the December 16 events. Baurzhan Mukhametzhanov explained that police had their own video that was available on YouTube and showed the initiators of the clashes.
