Academy winning designer makes costumes for Astana Opera ballet

The Astana Opera invited an Academy winning Italian costume designer Franca Squarciapino to create costumes for the upcoming Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake ballet. Squarciapino is working on sketches and designs of costumes and decorations for one of the most famous ballets. 50 dancer of the Astana Opera will partake in the two-act ballet that opens on April 25. TengrinewsTV gives a chance to ballet-lovers to enjoy a live stream from the Astana Opera (see the Russian version of the website for the live broadcast).
