Jellyfish in Kazakhstan?

Jellyfish have been found in the pound of Oktyabr water intake facility by local fishermen near Kazakhstan’s Ust-Kamenogorsk. The creatures are not known to have inhabited Kazakhstan waters ever before.
A local resident provided YK-news.kz the video showing the small whitish creatures swimming in the water.

The Department of Biology of East-Kazakhstan State University has confirmed that the creatures on the video were indeed jellyfish. "These are jellyfish, though I still cannot determine what type. I cannot imagine how they could have gotten there. Perhaps someone brought them from traveling abroad and then released into water in Ust-Kamenogorsk," said Bagdad Karmenova, senior lecturer at the University. According to her, the jellyfish captured in the video are most likely fully grown. Theoretically, these creatures can survive in the local waters.

It is yet unclear whether the "guests" pose any sort of danger to the local wildlife or humans.
