According to the country’s Minister of Oil and Gas, Russia’s petrol is being supplied to Kazakhstan in accordance with the schedule [to overcome fuel shortages].
Russia’s Prime-Minister Vladimir Putin supported the initiative of Kazakhstan PM Karim Massimov on coordination of joint anti-crisis activities in the Customs Union.
The decision to purchase 50 000 tons of petrol had been taken by the Kazakhstan’s Government in September against the backdrop of substantial fuel shortages.
