Shymkent will be cleaned off garbage by personnel on electric quad bikes, Tengrinews.kz reports. The first bikes are already cleaning the streets in Nursat region of the city.
Public facilities services say that quad bikes have two major advantages. First of all, they are ecologically safe and do not require petrol. This will significantly decrease expenses for cleaning city streets. After only four hours of charging the quad bikes can driving 150 km. The second advantage is that the vehicles are very maneuverable. Quad bikes can reach the areas that normal dumptrucks cannot.
Public facilities services of Shymkent currently have 10 quad bikes. Personnel on electric cars will clean off garbage on 14 streets of the city.
