Kyrgyzstan has replenished its budget with $1.9 million at the account of Kazakhstan's greenstones, Tengrinews reports citing the public relations department of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan. A man from China bought the natural stones at a public auction held by the Kyrgyz authorities. He offered the highest price. The money went to the Kyrgyzstan budget. Kyrgyzstan came to hold these stones after an operation at the Kazakh-Kyrgyz border. The anti-corruption service of the National Security Committee of Kyrgyzstan seized the large batch of these natural stones -- 16 tons of greenstone -- when a man was attempting to smuggle the stones out of Kazakhstan disguised as flour in April, 2012. The man who was transporting illegal greenstone - T. Baidauletov - is from Kazakhstan. He was charged with Illegal Trafficking. A court sentenced Baidauletov to a fine of amount of $4 thousand and the greenstone were seized into Kyrgyz state revenue. The country's Interdepartmental Commission held the public auction on January 25, 2014. The Chinese national purchased all the jades.
