Yaroslava Shvedova won Mexican tournament

Kazakhstan tennis professional Yaroslava Shvedova has won ITF series tournament that was held in Mexico, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Sportlive.kz. Shvedova outplayed Puerto Rican Monika Puig with the score of 6:1, 6:2 in the final match of Poza Rico tournament. It was Shvedova's first victory in singles in the current season. Kazakhstan tennis player plans to regain her previous WTA standing and pay more attention to singles tournaments to be able to compete in the London Olympics Games. Shvedova is going to compete the Olympics tournament in doubles paired with another Kazakhstan tennis professional Galina Voskoboyeva.
