Weightlifting: Kazakhstan's Ilya Ilyin got Guiness Book Records certificate
Kazakhstan weightlifter, two-time Olympic champion Ilya Ilyin has received a certificate of the Guinness Book of World Records, Twitter. “My certificate! I’ve got it at last! Thanks to all people in the world who believed in me and followed me till the end!” Ilya Ilyin wrote in his Twitter. Ilya Ilyin lifted 233 kilograms in clean and jerk and set a new world record at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London. Kazakhstan athlete lifted 418 kilograms in total after two exercises and set a new world record, beside winning an Olympic gold medal. Ilyin became two-time Olympic champion and won gold for Kazakhstan in the London Olympics.
