Their names turned up on the list of sportsmen, whose blood contained prohibited substances. The 2013 Asian Champion Alexandra Aborneva, the Asian Champion and silver winner of the Kazan Universiade Alexandr Zaichikov and the bronze medal winner of the Astana Continental Championship Yevgeny Evstafiyev were among the disqualified and will have to return the medals that they won at the competitions this year. The weightlifters will be deprived of their wages and expelled from the Kazakhstan national team.
