Kazakhstan tennis player Galina Voskoboyeva gained passage into the quarter-final of the ITF Sanya held in China, as the game’s official website reports. In the coming quarter-final she will face Irina Bremond from France, who beat Japanese Rika Fujiwara 6:1, 6:2. In the second round she won 6:3, 6:7, 6:3 over Ukranian Yuliya Beygelzimer. In the starting match of the tournament with the prize pool of $25 thousand Voskoboyeva beat Belgian Tamaryn Hendler 4:6, 6:3, 6:1. In early March Voskoboeva coupled with Russia's Dinara Safina won BMW Malaysian Open doubles in Kuala Lumpur. Galina Voskoboeva turned pro in 2002. During her career, she has won two ITF singles titles: in Mont-de-Marsan in 2003, and Cuneo in 2006. In 2008, she changed her nationality from Russian to Kazakhstani.
