In the decisive match volleyball professionals of Kazakhstan-1 team won over Chinese Liaoning team with the score of 3:1. Kazakhstan won gold and China won silver at the tournament. "Both the Kazakhstan team and the Chinese team had no losses before the final game. But when the two teams faced each other in the beautiful match, our national team took the victory in full view of the crowded cheering stadium," Secretary General of Volleyball Federation of Kazakhstan Yermek Syrlybayev said. Belarus took the third place. Belarus volleyball players won over the Azerbaijani national team in the match for the bronze medal with the score of 3:2. "Even though the tournament was held in the period when most teams are dealing with their local tasks, many of the players are on vacations, we have managed to put together a good team. Residents of Pavlodar city watched a great sport performance during all five days of the tournament. A lot of matches ended with scores like 3:2 or 3:1. This is testified to high professionalism and qualification of the players," Syrlybayev added. The opening of the international tournament, held on June 24, was attended by Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev. Six national teams -- Kazakhstan (2 teams), Azerbaijan, China, Belarus and Russia -- were competing in the jubilee tournament during five days. The prize pool of the competition was $150 thousand.
