Victory for Kazakhstani MMA fighters at Battle of Nomads-2

The WMMAA Pro Asia Division Battle of Nomads-2 has been victorious for Kazahstani MMA fighters. On November 30, the International MMA Tournament kicked off in Almaty.

The World and Asian MMA champion Shavkat Rakhmonov, 19, won over Brazilian fighter Marcus Vinicius, 34, by a TKO. It was Rakhmonov’s second fight and second victory in his professional career. His first fight was against Adam Tsurov at the M-1 Challenge 52 tournament.

Other Kazakhstani fighters, too, won their fights at the tournament. Samat Zhagipov won Saimirzo Farhodi from Tajikistan, while Dmitriy Yermolayev beat South Korean Lee Gak Su. Asif Tagiyev defeated his Tajik opponent Azimzhon Begidzhanov. Damir Ismagulov won Eldar Magomedov.
