Several fans praised homegrown talent:
“Zaynutdinov, Karaman, Zhumat, Seisen, Shushenachev – half of this amazing squad came from Uncle Vanya’s academy! A coach without ultra-modern facilities produces the country’s top players like a conveyor belt,” one user wrote, referring to Ivan Ilnitsky, a youth coach from Taraz who developed many of Kazakhstan’s leading players.
Captain Nurali Alip also received commendations for his performance, while the team’s ability to maintain composure under pressure did not go unnoticed. Another fan emphasized that Kazakh football supporters forgive everything except indifference.

- North Macedonia – 13 points (1 match left)
- Wales – 10 points (1 match left)
