The only Wing Chun Kung Fu school in Kazakhstan opened in Astana, Express K reports. Yevgeniy Kugai is the only official representative of the school in Kazakhstan. He learned from Chinese master William Chen who is a fellow of Bruce Lee. They both learned their skills in Hongkong school from the famous Yip Man. “My father Igor Kugai is an outstanding surgeon and the first Kazakhstan karate champion. In the beginning he was quite judgmental about me being fond of martial arts. But later he supported me in my initiatives. First I learned Wing Chun Kung Fu from a self-taught master. But later I started looking for a real master. William Chen became my teacher. He upholds Wing Chun style in its original form,” said Yevgeniy Kugai. The professionals call Yevgeniy Kugai a new little dragon. Young Bruce Lee was also called Li Xiao Long that means little dragon in Chinese.
