Kazakhstan tennis professional Yaroslava Shvedova has moved 80 lines up in the Women Tennis Association (WTA) rating, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Vesti.kz. At present Shvedova is ranked 62nd. She has managed to make such a leap thanks to her successful performance in the 2012 French Open. Shvedova has started playing in qualification round of Roland Garros tournament. She has reached the quarterfinals, where she yielded the victory to Czech Petra Kvitova, who in her turn lost to the winner of the tournament - Russian Maria Sharapova. Three Kazakhstan tennis professional are ranked in the first hundred of the WTA rating at present. Kseniya Pervak is still the best among her fellow countrywomen: she is ranked 41st. Galina Voskoboyeva has lost six lines and is 55th now. One more Kazakhstan tennis professional Sesil Karatantcheva is ranked 116th (+9 lines). Maria Sharapova is the leader of the rating due to her victory in Rolland Garros tournament. Belorussian Viktoriya Azarenka is ranked second and Polish Agnieszka Radwanska is in the third place.
