Kazakhstan tennis professional Yaroslava Shvedova has reached the second round of competitions in London Olympic Games by winning over Romanian Simona Halep, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Vesti.kz. Kazakhstan tennis professional won the first set with the score of 6:4. Then the tennis players had to stop the game because of bad weather. After the long break Shvedova won the second set with the score of 6:2. She will play against the winner of the match between German Sabin Lisicki and Tunisian Ons Jabeur in the second round of the tournament. Yaroslava Shvedova paired with Galina Voskoboyeva also continues to play in the doubles. They have won over Canadian Stephanie Dubois and Aleksandra Wozniak in the first round. Voskoboyeva lost her first round Singles match against Hungarian Timea Babos and won’t be playing in the second round.
