Kazakhstan tennis professional Yaroslava Shvedova has withdrawn from Wimbledon, Vesti.kz reports. Yaroslava was supposed to play against the world's No. 8 in tennis Petra Kvetova from the Czech Republic in the second round of the tournament, but the match was canceled. Shvedova was the last representative of Kazakhstan in the Wimbledon singles. Shvedova played against Kiki Bertens from Netherlands and beat her 6:4, 6:3 in the first round. Earlier, Kazakhstan tennis players Galina Voskoboyeva, Yuliya Putintseva, Sesil Karatantcheva and Evgeny Korolev dropped out of Wimbledon. Victoria Azarenka (Belarus), Steve Darcis (Belgium), Marin Čilić (Croatia), John Isner (USA) and Radek Štěpánek (Czech Republic) also pulled out of the tournament on June 26 because of injures.
