Kukushkin played against Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Damir Dzumhur in the tournament's final. The Kazakhstan tennis player won the 1st set (6:4), but Dzumhur came back with a severe revenge in the next set (6:1). Such score usually means a breaking point, but Kukushkin didn’t give up and ended the 3d set in his favor with the score 6:2. The match lasted for 1 hour and 49 minutes.
