Kazakhstan tennis professional Zarina Diyas has moved 19 lines up in the WTA (Women Tennis Association) ranking, Tengrinews reports.
Zarina reached 1/8 finals at Wimbledon last week gaining a new boost in her ratings. Earlier, she made it to the finals in the ITF (International Tennis Federation) tournament held in Nottingham and it helped her improve her positions and move from the 86th to 70th line.
In the meanwhile, another Kazakhstan tennis player Yaroslava Shvedova is still Kazakhstan’s No. 1. She has moved from the 65th to 52th line after also reaching the Wimbledon's 1/8 finals.
Kazakhstan’s former No. 1, tennis professional Galina Voskoboyeva had to miss several tournaments because of her injuries. She is still loosing lines and has already dropped out of the Top 100 to the 107th place.
