Kazakhstan’s tennis professional Yuliya Putintseva has made it into the quarterfinals of Eilat ITF tournament, Vesti.kz reports. Putintseva won over Germany’s Katrin Verle as the result of a tough match that lasted for almost two hours. Their first professional match was held last year and also had three sets. Verle won over Putintseva that time. Verle and Putintseva had to play a tiebreaker to decide the winner of the first set in this year's Eilat tournament. Germany’s tennis professional won the first set. But in the second set Yuliya, registered as Number 1, defeated her rival with a score of 6:1 and switch the match over to the decisive set. Despite her defeat in the second set, Verle was fighting to the last minute in the third set, but Putintseva kept squeezing her and won.
