The match lasted for almost one and a half hours and ended with the score of 6:4, 7:6 (7:4) in Kukushkin's favor. Before that he faced his compatriot Andrey Golubev in the tournament quarterfinals . Mikhail will play against Seppi Andreas from Italy in the semi-finals, today, on October 19. Other Kazakhstan tennis players who participated in the singles have already left the Kremlin Cup. Yaroslava Shvedova lost to Russian Yelena Vesnina with the score of 1:6, 2:6. And Galina Voskoboyeva failed to win even a set against Sofia Arvidsson from Sweden. The tournament kicked off on October 12 and is taking place at the Olympic Stadium in Moscow. The final matches will be held on October 20. The compensation's prize pool is $747 thousand.
