Kazakhstan's Alexey Poltoranin has made it into the list of the Top 3 best skiers at the 15-kilometer race of the World Cup stage in Poland, Tengrinews reports, citing Vesti.kz. Skier Alexey Poltoranin of Kazakhstan won the 3rd place in the 15-kilometer classical race at the World Cup stage held in Szklarska Poreba, Poland. Russian athlete Maxim Vylegzhanin won the gold medal of this competition, covering the 15-kilometer distance in 35 minutes and 39 seconds. His fellow countryman Yevgeniy Belov, who won the silver, was 2.2 seconds behind him. And Poltoranin, the leader of the Kazakhstan national skiing team, was 2.3 seconds behind the winner. Before that the Kazakhstan athlete participated in a sprint race on January 18, but drop out during the quarter-finals.
