Kazakhstan tennis professional Yaroslava Shvedova will represent Kazakhstan for two more years, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Eurosport.ru. Shvedova made this announcement after her victory in the Kremlin Cup Double. “I have extended the contract with Kazakhstan. I had a contract till the end of this year, and now we have renewed this agreement. I can't tell the exact term now, but it is more than two years. I am satisfied with everything. The Federation supports me significantly. I feel I am more relaxed in Kazakhstan, and I feel confident that the whole Federation is there for me,” Shvedova said. She also added that the victory in the Moscow tournament was very special for her. “This is my home, and it is nice to play here. There are lots of relatives here, and many friends have come to cheer for me. This was one of the tournaments that I dreamed of winning.” Shvedova paired with American Vanya King won over another Kazakhstan tennis player Galina Voskoboyeva, paired with Australian Anastassiya Rodionova in the final of the Kremlin Cup. Shvedova was number eight in the WTA Doubles rating on October, 17. It is most likely that she will move higher on the renewed rating on October 24. Yaroslava was not so successful when she played single in past months and is 225th in the WTA singles rating now.
