Kazakhstan tennis professionals Yaroslava Shvedova and Galina Voskoboyeva are going to qualify for the Olympic Games together, Tengrinews.kz reports, referring to Shvedova’s official website. “The Olympics is very important for us so we decided to start preparing as early as possible to play some matches together to learn to feel each other and to work on some combinations,” Shvedova said. Shvedova is traditionally stronger in doubles tournaments. Kazakhstan tennis professional paired with American Vanya King won Wimbledon and the U.S. Open in 2010. Earlier Tengrinews.kz reported that Shvedova was going to compete in singles in the London Olympics this summer.
