Kazakhstan's Shvedova paired with Spain’s Anabel Medina Garrigues won over Florencia Molinero (Argentina) and Adriana Perez (Venezuela) with the score of 6:1, 6:1 in the quarterfinals of the tournament.
The Kazakhstan/Spanish duo defeated Caroline Garcia (France) paired with Muguruza Blanco Garbine (Belgium) with the score of 6:3, 7:5 in the first round match.
