Tengrinews.kz – Real Madrid players landed in Almaty late on September 28 ahead of their Champions League clash with Kairat, and even their first night in Kazakhstan was filled with unexpected encounters.
Hundreds of fans greeted the Spanish giants at the airport, where traditional baursaks were offered and the Champions League anthem was performed by a folk instrument ensemble.
The excitement didn’t stop there. At the hotel, despite security measures and a police presence, fans continued to follow the players throughout the check-in process.
Videos circulating online showed Kylian Mbappé cheerfully responding “assalam alaikum” to a greeting as he entered the hotel.
