Racing crews of Kazakhstan are taking part in the Rally OiLibya of Morocco that starts today, on October 14, Vesti.kz reports. The scrutineering and administrative checks of the Rally OiLibya of Morocco took place on October 13. The commission approved all the participants from Kazakhstan and their cars. The racers and other team members had to undergo several administrative formalities such as documents and medicine checks, receive their navigation and tracking systems, stickers for their vehicles and identification bracelets. Then the team passed the technical check for the rally that scrutinized their vehicles and equipment. All of the racers were successfully admitted to the rally raid start. Kazakhstan is represented by six off-road crews. Mobilex Racing Team consists of 2 crews: Yury Sazonov (Kazakhstan pilot) and Arslan Cakhimov (Kazakhstan navigator) who got the No. 344; Kanat Shagirov (Kazakhstan pilot) and Aleksandr Moroz (Kazakhstan navigator), who has the No. 345. Both crews drive Hummer H3 vehicles in T1 class. "The main task of the team is to complete the race with good results. We spend almost all the time after the Silk Way Rally Raid readying the equipment. We were reconstructing our vesicles during those two months; the defects and shortages revealed during the raid were fixed. And now the main goal is to show good results," Yury Sazonov shared. "The race is acknowledged to be a good one for its complexity, because it has interesting navigation and tracks. The terrain varies much along the route - a lot of gravel and sharp edged rocks. That is why the racers are bring four or five sets of tires. It is possible to run out of all the spare tires in one day," the pilot of the Mobilex Racing Team described the race. Astana team is representing Kazakhstan at the race. It has 3 crews: Aidyn Rakhimbayev (Kazakhstan pilot) and Konstantin Zhiltsov (experienced navigator from Russia) (No.301) and Baurzhan Issabayev (Kazakhstan pilot) and Gabdulla Ashimov (Kazakhstan navigator) (No. 314) are driving HiLux Overdrive Toyotas in T1 class. And Denis Berezovsky and Ignat Falkov (No. 311) are driving Nissan Patrol in T2 class. The 6th crew representing Kazakhstan is driving for Off Road Sport team and consists of Andrei Cherednikov (Kazakhstan pilot) and Dmitry Tsyro (Ukrainian navigator) on Hummer H3 received the starting No. 334. The Rally OiLibya of Morocco is composed of 6 legs of 2051 km in total with 1517 km of selective sections. The International Rally Raid has been held in Morocco since 2000.
