Astana Kazakhstan team’s cyclist Valentin Iglinsky won multy-day Tour of Hainan race, Tengrinews.kz reports, referring to Astana fans website. Kenny van Hummel from Netherlands won the final stage of the race. Iglinsky managed to keep the first place in general classification after finishing the race. Valentin put on the leader’s yellow jersey after the eighth stage, where he came the first. Valentin Iglinsky has beeb riding for Astana team since 2010. He is considered one of the most promising world sprinters by cycling experts. He didn’t ride at Tour de France 2011 race unlike his brother Maksim Iglinsky. The Kazakh cyclist was detained by Nice police in France for scorching in the mid of July. An unacceptable rate of alcohol was detected in his blood then. It was even reported that traces of cocaine were found in his car, but this report, however, wasn’t confirmed and test showed no traces of drugs in his blood. The speeding incident cost him 10% of his year wages. The decision to fine him this amount was taken by the team's management.
