The sport portal's journalists have calculated that Kazakhstan fans who want to support their country's athletes in Sochi will have to spend about 600 thousand tenge ($4,000) for the trip. This is a minimum amount of funds they would require that is apt to become even larger depending on how many days they spend in Sochi.
An average cost of a return ticket to Sochi is 200 thousand tenge ($1300). And the most convenient route is via Moscow.
An average cost of a hotel room ranges from 20,000 to 45,000 tenge ($130-293) per day during the Olympic Games.
Prices of tickets to the sports contests differ, but even the cheapest ones range from 15,000 to 20,000 tenge ($97-130).
The 27th Winter Olympic Games will take place on February 7-23, 2014 in Sochi, Russia. 98 sets of medals will be awarded in 15 different sports.
