A Serbian football expert, Slobodan Krcmarevic, 45, was appointed chief coach of Kazakhstan junior football team (U-21). His contract stretches until the end of 2012, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Kazakhstan Football Federation. The team headed by Krcmarevic is due to start playing in June. Our team will also open Qualification games of European Under-21 Football Championship to be held in Israel in 2013. “We got into the group that has a very strong competition. National teams of France, Romania, Slovakia and Latvia do not need to be introduced. Each of these teams have very promising young football players. Our objective is to win the third place in the group, but we will for surely try to advance to the highest possible position,” Krcmarevic said. The Serbian coach coached such famous football players as Zoran Tosic (CSKA, Moscow), Miralem Sulejmani (Ajax, Amsterdam) and Gojko Kacar (Hamburg, Germany). Slobodan Krcmarevic used to play for football clubs like OFK (Belgrade, Serbia), Partisan (Belgrade, Serbia), AIK (Stockholm, Sweden), Apollon (Limassol, Cyprus), Anorthosis (Famagusta, Cyprus), PAOK (Thessaloniki, Greece) and Panionios (Athens, Greece). He won the Cup of Serbia (1992) and became the Champion of Serbia (1993), Champion of Cyprus (1994, 1998-1999) and the best football player of Cyprus (1998-1999). In 2002-2003 Krcmarevic was the head coach of U-18 team of Serbia, from 2003 to 2005 - coach for selection of young football players at Partisan FC, from 2005 to 2007 he worked as assistant coach of OFK FC, from 2007 to 2009 - head coach of U-21 Serbian national team, from 2009 to 2010 he was head coach of Apollon FC, from 2010 to 2011 - head coach of Anorthosis FC. As a coach he won bronze medals at Serbian Championship with OFK in 2007 and got into top six teams at the European Championship in Sweden with Serbian U-21 team in 2009.
