Nauryz-2013 Rock Climbing Festival organizers have announced winners of the tournament that was traditionally held in Tamgaly-Tas gorge (Tamgaly-Tas is located near the Ili River 120 km to the north from Almaty in the direction of Bakanas village), Mountain.kz reports. More than 40 athletes from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia took part in the spring tournament. The athletes competed for prizes in four categories: dry-tooling, jumaring, Dombay Roped Couples anв obstacle course. 12 teams took part in the obstacle course and it was the most spectacular event of the tournament. Kazakh State University-1 team, consisting of S. Yuzeyeva, M.Otepbayev and G.Durov, won the competition. They covered the distance in 16 minutes and 53 seconds. Central Sports Club of the Army-1 team was 4 minutes behind the leaders and Central Sports Club of the Army-2 team came third.
