Kazakhstan's Astana driver Daniel Juncadella completed his Formula 1 test with Ferrari, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Astana Racing Team press-service. The test was held at Vallelunga circuit in Italy. The driver had a chance to try driving a Formula 1 car thanks to his victory in Formula 3. “Juncadella drove Ferrari's F60 made in 2009. The track was dry but a bit froggy. The trial lasted for about two hours and Astana driver completed six runs of eight laps each,” the press-release reads. According to Ferrari technical experts, the test drive is one step forward for the young and promising racer. “To debut in Formula 1 and with Ferrari is more than a dream comes true. It was very comfortable working with the experts of such famous team. As for the bolide, just as I expected, the most impressive thing was the brakes and not the acceleration. It has been an amazing and incredible experience,” Juncadella said.
